Our preferred area of work is the university area. This is rich in  a variety of achitectural styles dating from about 1840. But we work in other areas also.

What we term our main preferred patch is the university area of Reading but is quite extensive.
in the north it is bounded by London Road;
in the east by Kendrick Road and the northern section of Northumberland Avenue;
in the east by Maiden Erleigh Drive,
and in the south by Wilderness Road and Pepper Lane.
Over the years we have carried out works in almost every road in this area.
However as part of our university patch we also include:
Woodley , Earley and Lower Earley,  and Wokingham Road
We have completed many works in these additional areas.  We have also undertaken creative decorating projects in newer houses in Lower Earley bringing individuality to modern or standard house designs.
But wherever you are we can help you! We have on ocassions worked further afield locally, such as at:
Aborfield,   Nine Mile Ride,   Basingstoke,   Shepherds Hill,  Wokingham,   Cane End,    Woodcote,  Three Mile Cross, Theale,   Shinfield,  Winnersh,   Caversham,   Hampstead-Norreys,  Burghfield,   Pangbourne,   Windsor, Wallingford, Taplow,  and Henley-on-Thames.
But we have even carried out specialist and unique projects further afield, for example:
on the 16th. century house Devereux Court in Herefordshire;
a restaurant full re-dec and re-design in Reading;
a wine bar in Aldershot
a luxury penthouse suite in Hampstead;
an apartment in Cadogan Square London
a traditional old cottage in Petersfield;
an 18th.century house by The Circus and Royal Crescent in Bath.
and an ancient farmhouse and barn conversion at Buckland in Devon.

Our preferred location is the University area of Reading- this is where we actually live and where we do most of our work.  This area has a distinctive architectural ambience signified very often by its rich decorative exterior brickwork in yellow, red and blue. Several of these roads have now been designated conservation areas by Reading Borough Council.
The range of architctural styles and the designs and features both interior and exterior is quite extensive, ranging from about 1830 or so with the advent and expansion of the Great Western Railway by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and the  "Three Bs" industries on which Reading's prosperity was then developing (bulbs- Suttons Seeds; biscuits- Huntley and Palmers, beer- and Courage,Barclay and Symonds).
The larger estates of the prvesious centuries in the area (some of the grand houses of which still remain) were being gardually broken up into the small groups of 19th. and early 20th. century  houses we see today
However we will work in other areas if requested as you will read opposite!
